Students Exploring Life, Faith and Purpose Together

Yesterday lunchtime, we were delighted to host our very first Youth Alpha session at Carmel College—an inspiring, student-led initiative designed to explore the big questions of life, faith and purpose.

Led by students for students, the session created a welcoming space for open conversation, reflection and curiosity. It was wonderful to see such a strong turnout, with pupils from across all year groups coming together to take part.

We were especially pleased to welcome Fr Kevin to the session, helping to support what is becoming a truly ecumenical initiative, bringing people together in a spirit of shared understanding and community.

A special mention goes to Holly and Noah, who continue to enrich the Catholic life of the college through their roles as Sixth Form Heads of Spiritual Depth, playing a key part in developing opportunities like Youth Alpha.

This marks an exciting beginning for what promises to be a meaningful and impactful journey for our students, as they explore faith, ask questions and grow together.
