Why did you study these subjects?
Biology was something that really interested me at GCSE level, I was keen to learn about various topics in more depth so continuing it to A-Levels was only natural. Choosing Maths was something that I felt would keep my options open for potential careers and would definitely be involved in my other subjects, which proved to be very helpful. I chose Chemistry initially as it was essential to pursue a career in Medicine, however it has proved to be quite enjoyable especially whilst we’re doing practicals which has helped me to visualise the chemistry at work.
Tell us your favourite memory of your time at Carmel college sixth form
My favourite memory was Santa Dash, especially coming up with ideas, creating costumes and obviously the treasure hunt, which was hilarious and stressful at the same time. It was a great way to interact with my form and it something nice to look forward to during Christmas.
