Study Subjects:
Geography
BTEC Sport
Public Services
Why did you study these subjects?
I chose to study Geography, because it is something that I have always been really passionate about and that I find very interesting. I have experienced Geography teachers that have been motivated and passionate to teach their subject and that has made me want to pursue it. I chose to study BTEC Sport because I have always enjoyed doing sport and liked doing GCSE PE at school. Also, I chose to study Public Services because it is a subject that gives you common knowledge about the world we live in. I decided to study two BTEC’s with one A-Level because this suited me best, the work load wasn’t too much for me and I felt like everything I was doing I could do well in.
Tell us your favourite memory of your time at Carmel college sixth form
My favourite memory of Sixth Form was definitely going to New York. The trip was amazing and one of the best things I’ve ever done. I really loved the fact that I got to go with my friends because it made the experience even better. I saw so much when we went and spent the full week laughing and smiling. My favourite part of the whole trip was going to the Ice Hockey game, and also the shopping.
How did Carmel College help you prepare for the future?
Carmel Sixth Form has prepared me not just by giving me the tools and support to achieve results and go to university. But also it’s prepared me by making me realise what I want to do, what I have a passion in and what I really am good at. It helped me prepare for my future by shaping me into a person who wants to make a positive difference to other people’s lives.
