What an unforgettable evening! Once again, our Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes celebration was a complete sell‑out — held a few days early and absolutely brilliant from start to finish.
Who knew holy‑themed bingo could be this much fun? Inspired by Our Blessed Lady and St Bernadette, the night was filled with laughter, generosity, and proper parish joy. And the prizes? Truly iconic:
- Four life‑size Pope Leo cardboard cut‑outs — yes… four.
- Washing powder — because even pilgrims need clean socks.
- An Our Lady costume — an instant crowd favourite.
- A hoover — proving Lourdes bingo really does cover all bases.
The atmosphere was fantastic: packed tables, great raffle prizes, huge smiles, and a warm sense of community glowing throughout the hall. It was a night that brought people together in the very best way.
Most importantly, thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who came along, we raised a fantastic amount to support our Sixth Formers as they prepare to serve on the HCPT Easter Pilgrimage to Lourdes. Funds raised will help support student places and assist the children and families travelling with Group 195.
We are still open to donations, and every contribution — big or small — helps make this pilgrimage possible, turning faith into action.
