The Start of Our Big Apple Adventure

Our Carmel College New York Trip officially began on 22 February, when students and staff made their journey across the Atlantic for the start of an unforgettable week in the Big Apple.

After an early start and a smooth flight, the group arrived safely in New York and headed straight into the heart of the city. Their first stop was Grand Central Station, where they took in the famous architecture and the excitement of arriving in one of the world’s busiest terminals.

They then continued to Times Square, where the dazzling lights, towering billboards and buzzing atmosphere gave everyone their first taste of New York’s iconic energy. Students were full of enthusiasm and represented Carmel College brilliantly throughout the day.

From Darlington to the Big Apple in just one day, the group ended their evening tired but thrilled — a fantastic start to an incredible week ahead.
