We are incredibly proud to celebrate the remarkable achievement of Amy, one of our dedicated Sixth Form students, who completed an extraordinary fundraising challenge for her upcoming Sixth Form expedition to Peru.
Amy set off from Bamburgh Castle at 9:00am and walked continuously through the night, finally reaching Tynemouth Castle at 5:00am the following morning. Her journey spanned an impressive 18 hours, showcasing exceptional resilience, determination, and commitment.
This epic sponsored walk helped raise vital funds towards the life‑changing educational experience in Peru, where students take part in cultural exchange, community projects, and personal development opportunities. Amy’s dedication to supporting her own learning journey — and pushing herself far beyond her comfort zone — is truly inspiring.
We are extremely proud of Amy’s perseverance and the incredible effort she put into completing such a demanding challenge. Her achievement reflects the strength, ambition, and spirit of our Sixth Form community.
Well done, Amy — an outstanding example of what determination can achieve.
